Her post-military life is marked by a deep commitment to supporting her fellow veterans. Roann channels her experiences into meaningful action, advocating for mental health awareness, social networking, and assisting with benefits through the Veterans Administration. She serves as a healing arts instructor with Mission Warriors, an Ambassador and mentor for the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program, and a Squad Leader with PGA HOPE Philadelphia, a section of PGA Reach. Roann's outstanding achievements include earning the William H Tunner award, Volunteer of the year, Combat Action Medal and numerous medals at the 2019 Department of Defense Warrior Games, including Gold in golf, showcasing her indomitable spirit.

Despite her personal challenges, Roann remains dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of military service members worldwide. Recently, she has expressed a strong desire to contribute to the ongoing struggle in Ukraine, leveraging her skills and experience in any way possible.
