There will be an organized travel itinerary we have for our Veterans from Ukraine coming to the Tournament, which will be along the following lines. Other Ukrainian Golfers who come can also join this package where we will organize all travel for them - additional cost included

Meet Denys Kovalenko
Kovalenko Denys, 24 years old, born in Zvenyhorodka, Cherkasy region, Ukraine. In 2017, he began his studies at the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University, majoring in History and Archeology. Since 2019, he has participated in an internship program at Jan Dlugosz University, Czestochowa, Poland, lasting 3 months per academic year. The last time he did an internship was in 2021. In 2022, he received a Master's degree in History, Secondary Education from Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University.
After graduating from the university and receiving his diploma, in February 2023, he enlisted in the 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine.
After the Basic Combat Training Course he was deployed to the southern front, Zaporizhzhia sector, for a month.
After the rotation, in August, he went to another deployment, to the east, in the direction of Kreminna, Luhansk region. He was wounded during an assault on November 20th, 2023. He is currently undergoing medical treatment in Kyiv.
