⏳ Service: 13 calendar years (7 years of special service in ATO/OOS)

🪖 Career: from soldier-scout to major

💥 Injuries:

1: Direct AK shot during an assault on a checkpoint in Shyrokyne (2016)

2: Stepped on an anti-personnel mine near Olenivka (2020), lost hearing in left ear

3: Blast wave from a tank shell near Bakhmut (2022), lost a limb

What has been the biggest challenge in your rehabilitation?

"The biggest challenge has been the hard work on myself and maintaining a strict diet to avoid gaining weight while being confined to a bed and wheelchair."

What would you like to say to Americans who support Ukraine with weapons and aid?

"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Americans for supporting Ukraine on its path to democracy, for helping develop institutions that protect human rights, and for investigating war crimes."
